Creationism

What is Creationism?

Creationism is the Biblical teaching on the origins of the heavens, the Earth, and all that is in them. Although it is a secondary doctrine, i.e. one on which a Christian can afford to err and retain his salvation, Creationism is a very important doctrine, and is also highly contested in our modern culture. Aside from atheists making up silly alternatives, such as Evolution, a large number of Christians even have their own heretical beliefs about origins. The Biblical account of origins is primarily found in the book of Genesis, but is also woven throughout the rest of Scripture, and is even foundational to several other doctrines, up to and including the Gospel itself.
