Evidence for Theism
What is Theism?
Theism encompasses a wide range of beliefs, all concerning the existence of some form of divine being. Although the most common thoughts brought to mind by the words "Theism" or "god" resembles the Christian God, the truth is there are many religions, with many different ideas about their god/s, which are all Theistic by definition. This becomes quite problematic when dealing with atheists, who all too often paint all Theists with the same brush.
Why evidence only for Theism?
Every journey has a "first step", so to speak. Bible Brain does have an evidence for Christianity section, but it is necessary to distinguish between God's existence and His identity. It's one thing to prove a god, of some kind, exists, it's another thing entirely to show that it is specifically the Lord God of Israel. Arguments found in this section are not necessarily designed to prove the Christian faith, but do show that it is, at the very least, possibly, even probably true.
This section will also include refutations of attempted counter arguments.
