Without doubt, the greatest evil of our time is abortion. Politicians are bribed, women are lied to, and most appalling of all, innocent children are slaughtered in numbers so great, it would make Adolf Hitler jealous.
Abortion is ultimately grounded on one particular lie: Women are sex objects. Our modern culture has no respect for sex. While God designed it to be enjoyed by a husband and wife in the privacy of the marriage bed, our culture sees it as just a means of pleasure, and they are extremely reckless about it. But the problem with sex is it has a second function: The creation of new human life. The natural sexual union of a male and a female, devoid of contraception (or when that contraception fails), has a chance of resulting in pregnancy.
The irony of this is that while abortionists scream about how pro-lifers (a significant number of whom are women) are "sexist" and see women as just "incubators", a Christian man, assuming he is faithful, will 1. wait until he is married to even have sex and 2. stick around to look after his own children after they're born (and his wife during the pregnancy). But what of pro-abortion men? They effectively support a woman's right to give her body to them, on a temporary basis, then terminate any pregnancies that would cause him the inconvenience of supporting a child. They have a motive Christians never should: Sex without "consequences."
But there are consequences. Whether you're a man who treats women as sex objects, or a woman who is willing to be used, your Creator intended you to use your body in a specific way, and every single one of us (and that does include me, before you start with the accusations of arrogance) has violated His design. Every command we have broken carries a consequence no government, no doctor, no radical advocacy group, not even a corporation founded with the intention of obliterating the black population (*cough* Planned Parenthood *cough*) will be able to spare you from. Adding murder to your long list of sins by performing, having, or even supporting abortion, is not the best way to please God.
But there is good news. God has to deal with sin, but He doesn't want to punish you. And so He has provided an alternative option. An olive branch. An ultimatum. God sent His Son, Jesus, to be born as a man, live a perfect life, and die on a cross, not for His sins, but for yours. But there is a condition. Repent of your sins, confess Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. Failing that, God will have no other option but to abort you.
