There are two ways to oppose God. The first is to be incredibly smart about it, the second is to be incredibly dumb. On the one hand, you have master deceivers, the obvious example being the father of lies himself, the devil. The devil is incredibly intelligent, not only knowing the truth, but exactly which parts of it to leave alone and which parts to hide. His lies mirror the truth so well, they appear true.
But not everyone is a master deceiver. The modern Left have gone so far in the other direction, all of their arguments are lazy. Everything true, everything pure, everything worth believing, they stand there with a straight face and say "you're a bigot". It could be any kind of bigotry. Misogyny, homophobia, white supremacy, they will throw these lazy arguments out and expect it to land, mainly because fear is a very powerful tool. Deception, admittedly, is more powerful, as it causes one to sincerely act as one's own police force. "I believe this, therefore I will conform to this". But fear says "I believe this, but if I conform to it, I lose this, that, and the other".
One person who received such ill treatment from the world is the owner of the LibsofTiktok Twitter account. Her only job is to find real videos, made by real Liberals, and present them to her audience. This, of course, is problematic. Modern Liberal beliefs are so bad, the easiest way to refute them is to present them. Thus, LibsofTiktok does just that. As a result, she was not only banned from Twitter for "hate speech" (before Elon Musk took over), but also doxxed.
One Liberal Tiktok shared by this account, depicted in the header image, shows a young man claiming that the gender binary is a direct result of European colonization. Of course, in reality, the gender binary is an easily observable, not to mention inescapable fact of biology. With very few exceptions, everyone on Earth is very clearly male or female.
I say very few exceptions because there are rare exceptions. Very rare. For example, there is the pseudohermaphrodite, a person who has the typical XY chromosomal structure of a male, but due to an autosomal recessive gene which prevents the conversion of testosterone to DHT, their genitalia do not develop as normal. Internally, they are male, but externally, they appear female, they are typically raised as female, and then it comes as quite a shock to them when they later begin to develop into a male.
Abnormalities such as this, first of all, are rare. The majority of human beings will not experience it, either having it themselves, nor knowing anyone who does. A man, seeking a wife, will not likely fear running into such a problem. A woman, seeking a husband, will likewise have no trouble finding a man. Homosexuals of both genders (because homosexuality assumes the gender binary) will likewise only struggle to find partners due to the rarity of homosexuality in general, not because their chosen partners spontaneously develop opposing anatomy.
Second, these abnormalities are not the same as a new gender. It's not a case of there being "cisgender" male and female, then 50+ new genders. Rather, it is a case of there being two genders which actually work, and, due to some genetic or developmental abnormality, some people may have, or appear to have, features of both.
It is worth pointing out that genetic and developmental abnormalities affect literally every aspect of the human being. Nick Vujicic, for example, was born without arms and legs. This does not mean it is "normal" for people to have no limbs, or that people with all 4 limbs firmly intact are remotely sensible to want them removed. This, by the way, is also a rare mental illness called Bodily Integrity Dysphoria. There are perfectly healthy individuals who, for whatever reason, desire to amputate one or more of their limbs.
Thus, it cannot be reasonably claimed that abnormalities in gender development pose any real problem to the gender binary, any more than children born with extra limbs pose a threat to atheism. In fact, such things prove the gender binary, simply because they are abnormal.
But according to the very much non-European God, there was a "very good" (Genesis 1:31) design in which such abnormalities did not exist. During this time, God made one man and his wife. During His ministry, Jesus, being God Himself, incarnate in a non-European man's body, affirmed this account as historically accurate, and used it as a basis for His beliefs about marriage and divorce.
So, is the gender binary really a direct result of European colonization? Absolutely not. It is a biological reality, observable without need of technology or facility, and it has been known for 6,000 years. Without it, the human race could not even exist, for reproduction requires either the sexual union of one anatomically intact male and one anatomically intact female, or a close substitute (such as IVF).
But then what went wrong? If the gender binary is a part of God's initially perfect creation, why are there abnormalities? And why do so many people around the world, and throughout history, seem to reject it? The simple answer to this is "sin". Very early in human history, in so short a time that Eve had not even conceived her first child, there was a rebellion against God. The devil, being the master deceiver he was, did not simply accuse Adam and Eve, who in all likelihood were quite dark skinned, of white supremacy. Rather, he took possession of a reptile, and deceived Eve, using just enough truth to make God appear to be a liar. Thus, she broke God's command, and lead Adam to follow suit.
The result of this rebellion, as promised, was death. In fact, the entire creation was cursed (Romans 8:20-22). Man, woman, beast, even the very ground was cursed (Genesis 3:17). Every bad thing that has ever happened is a result of this sin.
But sin did not stop with Adam and Eve. Not only did they, themselves, continue to rebel, but we, their children, continued this tradition, even to the point of impenitence. Romans 1 tells us about people who, rather than worship God, worship the creation. The result? "Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen." (Romans 1:24-25).
It goes on to describe a number of horrible, depraved things such people do, with a very heavy emphasis placed on homosexual sin, though this is not the only evil described here, and it even says such people are "inventors of evil things" (v30). The conclusion? These people, "...knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them." (v31).
But though this is the conclusion of Romans 1, it is not the conclusion of the matter. This is what we might call "the bad news". It is not, however, a problem lacking solution. The problem is "...all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," (Romans 3:23), and "...the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23). The good news? "...but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
While God is more than capable of killing the wicked, Scripture makes it very clear He takes no pleasure in it (Ezekiel 18:32; 33:11; 2 Peter 3:9). Rather, He wants all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). To that end, "...God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8). "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." (2 Corinthians 5:21).
It is a unique thing to the modern Left to blame basic science on European colonization, but it is not unique to the modern Left to receive God's love. And His grace. Every single person on this Earth, no matter where they live, no matter where they came from, no matter what they look like, no matter which of the two genders they are, is loved by God. Therefore, no matter what they've done, there is redemption in Christ. When Jesus died, He received the full punishment for every sin ever committed, allowing everyone to receive the reward for His perfect life. All it takes is to receive this free gift by faith, confessing Jesus as Lord, and believing God raised Him from the dead. This is a binary without exception: "“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." (John 3:18).
