Cambrian bunnies and the kamikaze ichthyosaur

When asked what evidence would convince them that Evolution is false, many Evolutionists claim that a bunny in the Cambrian would disprove Evolution by casting doubt on the geologic column. On paper, this is a good example. In practice, however, Evolution is a lot more malleable than that. Out of place fossils are found all the time. Take, for example, the “kamikaze ichthyosaur”.

The kamikaze ichthyosaur is a well preserved fossil head of a young ichthyosaur that was unearthed in 1999. According to Evolutionary long-age dating, the fossil spanned about a million years worth of sediment. Since bodies don’t patiently stand around for a million years waiting to be buried, it’s obviously problematic for Evolution for such a fossil to be found. But Evolutionists have made up an answer: The sediments remained soft for a million years. The ichthyosaur died, then plummeted headlong into the sediments, which then suddenly hardened, preserving the ichthyosaur.

If Evolutionists are capable of such fanciful story telling, it’s unreasonable to assume a bunny in the Cambrian would have any effect on their religion. They could make up a story about how the sediments were still soft, the bunny dug into the Cambrian layer, its burrow collapsed, and it got fossilised. This is not science. In science, evidence refutes bad theories. When it comes to Evolution, the bad "theory" refutes the evidence.
