Christian people believe the Christian book

How many times have you seen a so-called Christian undermine, reject, or even bash the Scriptures when they contradict their philosophy? This abominable practice is becoming increasingly common in the Church. We see people blow off Scripture because "oh, that's Old Testament", or "that was Paul, not Jesus" etc., and that's just the polite stuff. I've seen so-called Christians say some very rude things about Scripture, and about those who believe it.
The best way to respond to someone who denigrates Scripture in this manner is to simply take it away from them. See, without Scripture, there is no Christian faith. And more often than not, these people actually know it. I guarantee you, they will have a short list of Scriptures they actually like. Scriptures which can be ripped out of context to support their (let's face it) anti-Christian views. But if they accept Scripture, they must accept Scripture. If they reject Scripture, they must reject Scripture. The standards these people use for accepting the Scriptures they like and rejecting the ones they don't like is exactly that: If they like it, they accept it. If they don't like it, they'll find any arbitrary excuse to reject it.
So take away the fence upon which they sit. If they will not hear the Scriptures, push them over it, onto Satan's side, where his ravenous wolves will tear them limb from limb until they either perish, or, hopefully, see the error of their ways and return to the faith.
The latter, by the way, is the ultimate goal. We all know the adrenaline rush we get when we bash heretics over the head with the truth, but this is as foolish as their heresy. At the end of the day, a heretic is a person, made in the image of God, and deeply loved by Him. When Jesus died, He wasn't dying so you could feel superior to His enemies. He died so that His enemies (you) could be reconciled to God through that death (Romans 5:10). Thus, we must love these people enough to do this. We must not let them sit on the fence. If they will not use Scripture correctly, they must not be allowed to use it at all. Only then will they realise just how much they need it, repent of their error, and be saved.
