CRT belongs in the bin, not the Church

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Racism has no place in the Church. In any form. There is no way for a Christian to justify racism. Unfortunately, with the recent acceptance of Critical Race "Theory", many people are trying.

Because Critical Race "Theory" is unworthy of the term "theory", this is the last time I will refer to it as such. I will henceforth refer to it as Critical Race Dogma (CRD). Critical Race Dogma divides people into groups of "oppressors" and "oppressed", and seeks to bring about social changes to "correct" this. Oppressed classes, such as black people, are said to be severely disadvantaged, and oppressor classes, such as white people, are said to be perpetuating these disadvantages by supporting the systems and institutions that, allegedly, cause these disadvantages. The solution to this imaginary problem is to create actual inequality by applying laws and rights differently to each class.

Critical Race Dogma is nothing but hatred. It teaches the "oppressed" classes to hate their alleged oppressors, and causes "oppressor" classes to fear those who actually take it seriously. While CRD ironically teaches that white people are inherently racist, it is really just anti-white racism, and actually, is particularly racist against "oppressed" classes, too.

CRD is racist, by definition, because it is quite literally, and quite expressly, the judgement of people based on the color of their skin. It judges all white people, in spite of their personal views, as racist, based purely on the color of their skin. It judges all black people as being inherently inferior, being incapable of participating in civilised society, based, again, on the color of their skin. It even calls them "race traitors" if they do not subscribe to this kind of cultish hatred of white people.

Critical Race Dogma is an abomination. It is an abomination to God, it is an abomination to the Church, it is an abomination to the human race. Those who subscribe to it need to immediately repent, and those who do not subscribe to it need to be increasingly vocal against it, because unfortunately, it is gaining ground in society. It should not be gaining ground in the Church.

In fact, God Himself has directly addressed an older version of Critical Race Dogma. "What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge? As I live, saith the Lord God, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel." - Ezekiel 18:2-3

The proverb is actually similar to our proverb "the apple never rots far from the tree". Put simply, it means children are guilty for their parents' sins. But scripture is very clear: You shall not hold children guilty for their fathers' sins. In other words, even if you could indisputably prove that a modern white person is directly descended from a slave owner, they're no more guilty than if you could find the descendent of Anthony Johnson.

For those who aren't aware, Anthony Johnson (depicted right) was the first American slave owner. In case it isn't clear from the image, Johnson was a black man, and yet, by going to court to obtain permanent ownership of John Casor, Johnson became the first American owner of a permanent slave.

One would assume slavery is an entirely white invention, especially with how it is portrayed in modern pop culture, but the truth is, even in America, there are black fingerprints all over the institution. But it doesn't matter. No one alive today is responsible for what dead people did. Everyone, and I mean everyone is responsible for their own sins.

And their own failures. The very existence of successful people in "oppressed" classes (not to mention failures in "oppressor" classes) is proof positive that the system isn't rigged in anyone's favor. The world isn't divided into oppressed and oppressor, but fools and the wise. The wise are those who seek to live good lives, both morally, and in diligence. Fools are those who rush to make mistakes, and blame others when the consequences bite them.

Ultimately, Critical Race Dogma is so unbelievably stupid and dangerous, it is a problem even for those who do not yet know God. But if you claim to know God, it is especially incumbent upon you to dispose of this rotten menstrual cloth before you meet Him. I will conclude this article with a very important scriptures, all from John's first epistle:

"He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes." - 1 John 2:9-11

"Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him." - 1 John 3:15

"If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?" - 1 John 4:20
