Evolutionist: If we don't brainwash kids, they might reject Evolution

Imagine a world in which the majority of society possesses highly refined critical thinking skills. They don’t accept what they’re spoon fed, they ask questions, and they want nothing but the right answers. Sounds great, right? Now imagine they question Evolution. They don’t just accept it because they’re spoon fed it, they ask questions, they want answers, but Evolution is ill equipped to give those answers, so people start to reject Evolution. Sounds great, right? According to Eugenie Scott, however, this world sounds more like a nightmare than a dream. She would rather live in a world of zombie drones who daren’t question Evolutionary dogmas. If they’re gullible, good! As long as they blindly accept Evolution, it’s all good.

Imagine if a Creationist had said about Creationism what Eugenie Scott said about Evolution. It would make headlines. It would become a viral meme. Evolutionists would shout from the rooftops “Creationists hate facts!” But it was an Evolutionist who said this (1). Because of her faith, Eugenie Scott would rather live in a world of ignorance, and her Evolutionist cronies clap along like seals.

Unfortunately, Scott’s view is all but a law in America, and seems to actually be a law in every other Western nation (First amendment sounds great all of a sudden). But perhaps you’re reading this now and see just how terrifying critical thought is to Evolutionists. Why do you suppose this is? Eugenie Scott gave you her answer. It might “confuse” you about Evolution. It might “lead you to reject” Evolution. But if Evolution is so solid, why would it? If you teach critical thinking by comparing the flat earth and round earth views, round earthers will always come out on top. But Scott admits that critically examining Evolution might lead you to reject it? Let’s be honest here: when you remove all the PR talk, Eugenie Scott made a startling admission. She believes that Creation is a valid opposition to Evolution. It is a credible threat to her religion, so she wants it squashed. My question to you: Will you let her brainwash you?
