For many decades now, atheists have proclaimed themselves as the ultimate rational thinkers. They constantly brag about how intelligent they are, and how stupid theists are. Stupid Christians! If they'd only use their brains, they'd be atheists!
But then you come to the modern atheists, who have the same puffed up attitude, but now they try to avoid commitment by claiming atheism is just a lack of belief in God. They don't realise it, it is actually contradictory to claim atheism is a lack of belief, yet is also an intelligent conclusion. See, if atheism is just the lack of belief in God, it takes no intelligent thought. In fact, it takes no thought at all.
As far as I am aware, no animals alive today believe in God, at least not in the same way we do. My dog doesn't seem aware of the significance of the Bible, especially when he steps on one. My plants don't exactly grow 7 inches taller when I play Bible songs. Even the fidget spinners you see in the above meme, which cannot do anything that even resembles any type of thought, do not have the capacity to believe in God. And yet in order to believe in God, I must use my mind. In order to make memes, or write these articles, I must use my mind. In order to reason as to whether or not there is a God, I have to use my mind. Therefore, the atheist is forced to do one of three things: they can admit that Theism requires far more intelligent thought than atheism, they can change their definition of atheism and commit to an actual position, or they can hold two blatantly contradictory views which can only convince like-minded people. As a Christian, I know which option I find more appealing.
