Whenever I write about Hitler's views on Christianity, it feels strange. It's like trying to explain why the sun is not made out of ice. Do I actually need to explain that the world's most notorious anti-semite did not worship a Jew as his God? Apparently, yes. Yes, I do. Why? Because some people are so desperate to make Christianity look evil that they actually claim that Hitler was a Christian.
Now, let's first think about the fact that the Bible is a Jewish book. Aside from the fact that even non-Christian Jews believe the first 39 books of the Bible, the rest of the Bible was also written mostly by Jews. Luke is a possible exception. I'm not 100% sure, but I do know there is some debate as to whether or not Luke was a Jew or a gentile. Of course, even then he certainly wasn't "Aryan", but I'm willing to grant the possibility that one out of forty authors might not have been Jewish. But other than that, all of the Bible's authors, from Moses to John, were Jews.
No wonder, therefore, the New Testament speaks very highly of Jews. Do we really imagine Hitler would have been happy with a book that says "What advantage then has the Jew, or what is the profit of circumcision? Much in every way!" (Romans 3:1-2a)? Why would a homicidal maniac who believes being a Jew is a bad thing believe a Holy book that says being a Jew is a good thing? "Hey, you Jews, you know God says you have an advantage because it was you to whom He gave his primary revelations? Ok, cool, now uh... pop into this gas chamber here for me."
And of course that would be where Jesus would have died had He been born to Ava in Nazi occupied Germany rather than to Mary in Roman occupied Israel. Why? Forgive me for banging a broken drum here, but Jesus. Was. Jewish. He was a Jew! So how could Hitler possibly have worshipped Him? There is literally more hope of a Muslim eating bacon than a Nazi worshipping Jesus.
Adolf Hitler was not a Christian. He did not live as a Christian, he did not die as a Christian. His many sins, which included the persecution of God's own people, both Jewish and Christian, were never repented of. He did all of that, and he didn't even have the guts to stand trial after losing the war. Ladies and gentlemen, Adolf Hitler is in Hell.
But you don't have to join him. See, the God whom Hitler hated loved even Hitler. Through a Jew, whom Hitler would have killed, God made eternal life freely available to all men. Jesus Christ died on the cross for the sins of the whole world. Anyone can confess Him as Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, which absolutely guarantees eternal life. This is a message that Hitler rejected. But it's still available to you.
