As a child, dinosaurs were always my obsession. As an adult, I haven't grown out of that. What I have grown out of is the crazy idea that they lived and died 65+ million years ago.
Evolutionists constantly use dinosaurs as a club to beat Christians over the head with, but I really don't understand why. In order to be a serious weapon in an Evolutionist's arsenal, dinosaurs would have to be incompatible with the Bible somehow, but where in the Bible does it say dinosaurs couldn't have existed? Far from contradicting the Bible, I think dinosaurs are actually mentioned in the Bible. Job 40:15-20, for example, mentions a large, herbivorous creature called a behemoth that moves its tail like a cedar. The only known creature that best fits the description of behemoth is a sauropod dinosaur. The Bible also refers to leviathan, a terrifying sea reptile with no fear of man.
Evolutionists may insist that dinosaurs couldn't have coexisted with man, but this is ultimately circular reasoning. You can't say the Earth is millions of years old and prove it by claiming dinosaurs lived millions of years ago. It is especially illogical to discount all the evidence of dinosaurs living with man based solely on the idea that they didn't.
Unless Evolutionists can demonstrate that dinosaurs are incompatible with the Bible, they fail as an argument against it.
