Meeting the Liberal gander

Whether they believe in Him or not, most people have to admit that Jesus is a very influential figure. If you can convince a large enough group of people that Jesus believed or taught a certain thing, that's instantly more credible than if a bunch of people just get together and decide "hey, we believe this now, cool?"
Liberals have known this for a long time now. Citing Jesus is very popular for them, particularly His statements on loving your neighbor, because God does too. "Love" is a popular talking point for Liberals. It's a shield they hide behind, since of course, they can't use logic to defend their abhorrent practices, but they can really tug at the heartstrings of their target audience by making disagreement synonymous with hatred.
But Jesus was absolutely not a Liberal. In fact, while He would occasionally weigh in on politics, even at one point telling Pilate he was sinning by crucifying Him (though less than Judas by betraying Him), He was primarily concerned with the bigger picture. He was less concerned with peace in this life, and more concerned with peace in the next. Thus, He called people to repent of sin, even though this would no doubt be a difficult calling for everyone who answered.
When reading the Bible, no literate person could conclude that Jesus was ok with Relativism, homosexuality, abortion, Socialism, fornication, Critical Race "Theory", or any other such things. But when (if) Liberals read the Bible, they're not interested in what it says, nor what it means, but in how they can twist it, so they can attach their bad, weak ideas to a good, strong authority.
But when Jesus called out "Lazarus, come out", do you really think He was saying "it's ok Lazarus, you can admit you're gay"? Or is it more likely this story should be interpreted as literally everyone who has ever read the story for 2,000 years?
Not only am I going to go with the latter theory, because that's just common sense, but I'm also going to make Liberals a deal. I am content to let them believe whatever they want, as scripture does say "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still..." (Revelation 22:11). But you're not going to use my God, or my Bible, to do it anymore. From now on, every time I see a Liberal twist the Bible to suit their agenda, I'm going to twist their agenda to suit the Bible, and write a follow up article doing so, which I will link to at the end of this one.
For now, let's use "Lazarus, come out". There is a "pastor" on TikTok, whose name I do not care to retain, who really did say that the account of Lazarus' resurrection is, in fact, an account about Jesus helping Lazarus "come out" as gay. I have no idea why he thinks a first century Jew would have any concept of a 21st century English idiom, but he did admit that Lazarus was in a tomb. The pastor allegorised the tomb, but admitted it was a tomb. So, let's apply the same eisegetical logic to this pastor that he applied to the Bible.
Homosexuality is a tomb. This pastor admitted it. Lazarus was inside the tomb of homosexuality, which Jesus called him out of! Homosexuality, as the Bible tells us, leads to death (e.g. Romans 1:18-32), and so of course Jesus would want to help men out of it! This TikTok pastor, therefore, is wisely calling out to a culture deep in sexual immorality, and begging them to repent, that they may escape the snares of sin and death, and come to know the love of Jesus!
Sadly, it is as obvious that this pastor does not believe this as it is that the Bible does. Biblically speaking, there is no justification for homosexuality. If Christ calls for homosexuals to "come out", it is not so they may live a flamboyantly gay lifestyle, but so they may confess their sins, and be forgiven. When this pastor twists scripture to support homosexuality, he is lying, and his malice cannot be attributed to stupidity. He knows full well what he's saying isn't true, just as I know my version of his teaching is not what he teaches. If he could read this article, he would know how it feels to be twisted as he twists God. Would it cause him to repent? God alone can say. But hopefully it will show someone his folly, and guard them against it.
So, what kind of wacky theology will Liberals cram into the Bible next, and what kind of sound theology will I be able to draw from their lies?
(For now, as this article is new, the answer is none. But when I find some, I will indeed update.)
