Arguments against Christianity are high in number, but low in quality. Take, for example, the argument that we can't be sure about Christianity because there are so many other religions. Critical thinkers will immediately spot a number of flaws in this argument, starting with the simple fact that the conclusion in no way connects with the premise.
Amazon exists, but so many scammers pretend to be Amazon. Law enforcement exist, yet scammers pretend to be law enforcement. Currency exists, yet there is a lot of counterfeit currency. Yet, no one questions the legitimacy of the genuine articles. Fraud is a common thing in a fallen world of 7 billion sinners, but the reality remains unchanged. Why, then, should it be any different with God? Yes, there are counterfeit Churches, lying lords, and perjuring prophets, but it is illogical to conclude "therefore, we cannot trust Christianity either".
But actually, the large number of counterfeit religions is an excellent reason to believe Christianity is true. First, simply because Christianity would predict the ever-increasing number of religions. The existence of a number of false religions is perfectly consistent with a religion that describes the human race as being constantly rebellious against God while being instinctively aware of, and even dependent upon Him. But more importantly, when you compare these other religions to the Christian faith, you see there is no comparison to be made.
One reason for this is the simple impact of Christianity. Because of its historicity, Christianity has influenced the entire human race. Every major world religion says something about Jesus; this indisputable historical figure who changed the world with His spectacular miracles and audacious claims. But most spectacular about Him is that unlike almost every false prophet, He's still alive.
Charles Darwin is buried in Westminster Abbey in London. Muhammad is supposedly buried in the Sacred Chamber in Saudi Arabia. Buddha was cremated. But Jesus, having been crucified, was laid in a tomb from which He walked on the third day. What other religion can claim a risen Savior? What other religion can even claim the historicity of our dead prophets? From Moses to John, Christianity has a stronger history than any false religion. So what candle can any religion hold to the Christian faith that would give any cause to doubt it?
