Species: A word made up by a Creationist!

An inconvenient fact that no Evolutionist wants to accept is that for all of recorded history, living organisms have always been observed reproducing according to their kinds. There has never been any recorded instance of one kind producing another, whether in one generation or over many.

This is a problem for Evolutionists, because Evolution absolutely requires that one kind, given enough time, will eventually become another. Dogs and cats are different kinds, Evolution requires that they share a common ancestor. Hippos and whales are different kinds, Evolution requires that they share a common ancestor. Chimps and humans are different kinds, Evolution requires that they share a common ancestor.

But Evolutionists can only provide examples of changes within kinds. They can show new species "evolving", they cannot show new kinds evolving. Because new species evolving is all they've got, they need to make these examples work for them. So, in a desperate attempt to rescue their "examples" of Evolution happening before our eyes, Evolutionists think they have the answer. "Kind" is not a scientific term. "Kind" is just something Creationists made up.

The thing about taxonomy, however, is that it is not a thing that was discovered, but rather it, too, was made up. Imagine two schools. One school files their students according to their dates of birth. The other files their students according to their surnames. Which school is right? Answer: Both and neither. It's a filing system. Even if most schools in the world agreed on a standard filing system, that wouldn't invalidate any school that didn't conform to that system. Taxonomy is basically a filing system. We file organisms according to their anatomy, genetics, and reproductive potential.

But as it happens, Creationists don't really need to use a different classification system. See, what Evolutionists won't tell you is that Carl Linnaeus, the man who invented the taxonomic classification system currently used in mainstream science, was a Creationist. In other words, just like the term "kind" was invented by Creationists (in a sense), the term "species" was also invented by a Creationist.

So, Creationists are quite safe to use Linnaeus' taxonomic system. In fact, I'd go as far as to say we should do everything we can to keep them on this common ground, because although the term "kind" is biblical, Evolutionists will always scoff at it because it doesn't fit their religion. But they can hardly afford to scoff at the Linnaean scale, since they use it themselves.

So, let us point out that the word "kind" roughly equates to the family level. Not always (we have to remember that Linnaeus lived in the 1700s, so he was never going to be as advanced as we are, neither does anyone claim he was infallible), but generally speaking, kind and family are equivalent. So, we no longer need to ask Evolutionists to demonstrate that one kind became another, but one family. Or order. Or class. Or phylum. Or kingdom. Or domain. According to the Evolutionary fairy tale, all life on earth is descended from a single celled organism. Simply put, proving a fish is related to a slightly different fish is not the same as proving a man is related to monkeys.

And that's because man isn't related to monkeys. Rather, God created each organism according to their kind. That does allow for adaptability. When God said "be fruitful and multiply", He knew full well that wasn't going to be an easy task. There are different climates all over the world, and they frequently change (not to mention the flood He knew full well was going to happen that would inevitably change the world forever). So change within a kind had to happen, but change outside a kind cannot.

Humans are one kind, and we are a unique kind. Unlike all the other animals, we are made in the image of God. But we've marred that image. Each of us has sinned against God, meriting death. But just as God knew animals would need to adapt in a fallen world, God knew the world would fall in the first place. And so He came up with a plan. Rather than condemning sinners to an eternity in Hell, God sent Jesus into the world to live as a perfect, sinless human being. He then died on a cross, taking the full wrath of God. Our sin has already been punished, and so eternal life is up for grabs. How? Faith. If we confess Jesus as Lord, and believe that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved.
