The Bible has more successful predictions than Evolution

Evolutionists often complain that Creationism doesn't make successful predictions. As previously shown on this ministry, and is well documented on ministries far greater than mine, this is false. Creationists make successful predictions based solely on their belief in creation fairly regularly. A noteworthy example is Russel Humphreys' predictions about the magnetic fields of various planets based on the assumption that they are young (1).

But we're not here to discuss the multiple predictions made based on Creationism. Rather, my question is why focus solely on Creationism? Creationism is a small part of a much larger picture. There are 66 books in the Bible, and while a lot of them do talk about Creationism, there are many things within that don't reference it.

Just as there are two types of science, historical and observational, there are two types of predictions: what is and what will be. Humphreys' predictions regarding the magnetic fields of planets are an example of predictions about what is. But the Bible is most famous for its more historical predictions: what will be. The book of Daniel is especially fascinating. It is so accurate in its predictions (called prophecy) that skeptics actually try to claim it was written much later than it was.

If you value predictions so much, Christianity is the faith for you. God's personal track record for failed predictions stands at 0. And unlike 100% of scientists who have ever lived, God was right there when He created the Earth. He didn't need to run countless experiments, do tonnes of complex maths, or fake a single fossil, before He wrote what He thought happened in Genesis. He did it how He did it, and He guided Moses to record this.

But the truth is, I'm not as interested in what God says happened at the beginning as I am in what He says will happen at the end. Here's another prediction you can trust: there are two places to spend eternity. The first is in Hell, separated from our Creator by our sin. But Jesus came to take that from us. Through His blood, He redeemed us to God forever. Therefore, He predicted that those who trusted in His death and resurrection will spend eternity with Him in Heaven. That is the best prediction ever made.
