The log in the eyes of the "judge not" crowd

It seems these days the only sin you are "allowed" to judge is the "sin" of judgement. So many Christians love to quote Jesus in Matthew 7 saying "judge not, lest ye be judged", but they fail to acknowledge the rest of the passage clarifying that it is actually hypocritical judgement He is condemning, as well as the other scriptures that command us to judge each other righteously.

Those who quote "judge not" scriptures are invariably the most judgemental people in the world. In fact, they will usually find a broad declaration of "this is what the scriptures say", like a Facebook post, then use the "judge not" scriptures to directly attack the organisation or individual who expressed it. My friends, there is a big difference between "this is what the Bible says about this sin" and "I hate those who commit this sin". You do not have to hate any sinner to call sin sin.

In fact, the irony is that it is less loving to not judge sin as sin. Imagine a world where a parent is condemned for telling their children to look both ways before they cross the street, to eat their greens, to not touch a hot stove, to respect electricity, to do their homework... How long would such a society last? How many children would pay the price for such recklessness? And yet we, as Christians, imagine that it is loving to just let people rebel against the God of the universe, knowing full well that if we don't judge them, He will?

Tell me, which is the preferable option? To be judged by a loving human, who may offend you, but at the very least cannot condemn you, or to fall into the hands of the Living God, who can destroy both your soul and your body in Hell? I am absolutely aghast that I would need to explain to professing Christians which of these is the better option!

To my fellow Christians, remember these words of Jesus, and remember them well: "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you." To the heathen, the heretic, the apostate, to all who hate the warnings the Lord sends you through His servants, remember this: "I would rather offend you into Heaven than flatter you into Hell." If you remain under the delusion that judgement is hatred, you condemn yourself, because you judge us, and so by your own philosophy, you are hateful. You can't sustain such a philosophy.
