The real reason people hate Christians

We live in a culture of Relativism, where you can believe anything you want (except the Bible). And it seems, ironically, every man and his dog wants to claim Jesus as their authority. It is not uncommon in a debate for a heretic to say "people hate Christianity because of you". Like the debate that inspired this article. My opponent told me that I make outsiders hate Jesus by believing He created the heavens and the earth in 6 days.
But the truth is, Jesus Himself warned us that the world would hate us because it hated Him too. Every single verse listed in the header image says something along the lines of "the world will hate you, because it hated me first, and you are of me". Remember what they did to Jesus? They put Him on a cross. They didn't do that because He ran around tickling people's ears, but because He constantly offended them with the truth.
If, as a Christian, unbelievers hate you, it might be because you're doing something wrong. If you're running around a soldier's funeral shouting "God hates fags" (Westboro Baptist Church, woe to you), you're not being hated because of Jesus, you're being hated because you're not following Him. But if you're obeying Him, and you still get hate, go to your cross. If you're actively changing what the Bible says just to please those who don't believe it anyway, you've got a serious problem.
