"Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." - 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12
To say that the radical Left are deluded is, at this point, a very powerful understatement. For proof of this, look no further than the 2021 gubernatorial recall election in California. Governor Gavin Newsom faced a recall, following outcry over his incompetence during the Covid-19 pandemic. One candidate to replace Newsom was Republican candidate Larry Elder. In spite of the fact Elder, Newsom's closest competitor, was a black man running against a white candidate, the campaign against him ran on a platform of racism. Rather than showing why keeping Newsom around was a good idea, Elder was instead slandered as "the black face of white supremacy".
Although the Left have been increasing in their insanity for a considerable amount of time, this attitude and strategy has always been present. They have always accused their opponents of various kinds of "isms" and "phobias", in lieu of proving their ideas are in any way sensible. If you opposed an idea that was presented by (one of their) women, you were considered a misogynist. If you opposed their efforts to normalise homosexuality, you were a homophobe. They even managed to get Barrack Obama elected as president not based on the idea that he would be a good one (which it turns out he certainly was not), but simply because "you're a racist if you don't vote for him". Even if you had black friends, you obviously hated black people and thought we should go back to segregation and slavery and stuff like that.
The sad part is, the strategy worked. Being so scared of being perceived as racist, people would stay silent, and on the rare occasions they didn't, they'd cave in and apologise to the woke mob. Who, by the way, don't forgive. Unless you're one of their own, that is. Canada's Justin Trudeau, a.k.a. Prime Minister black face, for example, seems to be able to get away with past racism. Typically, however, you have to be very woke to get away with saying or doing something decidedly not woke.
But the insanity of the Left can actually be flipped on them. See, their reasoning for Larry Elder being the "black face of white supremacy" is that, in their view, the Republican party (i.e. the party that fought a civil war to free the slaves from the Democrats...) is a racist party whose policies are inherently racist. Using this logic, we can say that for every insult the Left throw at us, they are twice as hateful.
As a Christian, I can think of nothing more hateful than wanting someone to go to Hell. Indeed, when we are angry with someone, we might tell them "go to Hell". We say it in anger because it's an awful thing to say, because Hell is an awful place to go. So awful, in fact, that Jesus paid the ultimate penalty, being incarnate in human flesh and nailed to a cross just to stop sinners from having to go. Yet, while not all Conservatives are Christians, all Christians preach against sin in order to bring sinners to repentance.
Because the central theme of Christianity is love for God and love for humanity, Christians, no matter where they converted from, should become progressively less hateful throughout their life. If you were a racist before you converted, you now recognise all men as your equal. If you were a homophobe before you converted, you now want gay people to know the love of your Heavenly Father. No matter who you were before you converted, you had better be the Samaritan man from Jesus' parable today.
If Larry Elder is a white supremacist because Republican policies are seen as being somehow bad for anyone who isn't white, then the radical Left are certainly bigots, because their views are bad for all people, not only in this life, but in the next. When a person goes to Hell, his sins are on his own head, but everyone who deceived him is also guilty.
The Bible gives us the impression that the mental divide between the saved and the impenitent will only continue to grow. Those who receive salvation receive with it the joy and peace, even in such a terrible world, that comes with a positive relationship with God. Those who reject God, by contrast, will continue down a dark path, becoming increasingly immoral, until one day, it either breaks them into repentance, or they die, and receive the wrath they deserve.
But let us not forget, we all deserve it. Everyone, from the most humble of the saved to the most detestable of the reprobate, has sinned against the Holy One, and has merited His wrath against themselves. Nevertheless, in His love, He has other desires. Salvation is available to all who will repent, and confess Jesus as Lord, believing He rose again. Using this simple method, even the most delusional Left wing bigot can be saved, literally in a heartbeat.
