Things you won't hear from a competent doctor

Evolutionists often claim Evolution is essential to medical science, and that if we stopped believing in it, we'd go back to the dark ages. In reality, no doctor cares what happened in the ancient past. What a doctor cares about now is what his patient is. That's why you take your family to doctors, and your pets to a vet. This claim is really just a desperate attempt to make Creationists look stupid.

Ironically, although Evolution should have no effect on medical science, there is one time I like to point to when it did. Evolutionists have indeed used their beliefs about our ancient past to determine how they think things are today. The result? Medical malpractice.. That exception is the concept of "vestigial" organs.

Evolutionists used to claim there were 180 "vestigial" organs. Useless remnants of our Evolutionary past. We now know, however, that all 180 of them serve some kind of purpose. Some important, some not so much. Of course, none of them are essential to survival, so Evolutionists still claim victory on that front, but if I chop your left hand off, you're likely to survive. Does that mean you don't need your left hand?

The most famous example of a supposedly vestigial organ would be the coccyx. Evolutionists used to claim it was completely useless, so Evolutionist doctors weren't hesitant to take it out. However, this taught us that the coccyx isn't the useless remnant of a tail, but is actually quite an important structure. It is the anchor point for 9 muscles which help during toilet time, it helps women give birth, and it provides a third point of impact when you sit down. These are three very valuable functions, would you not agree? Of course, Evolutionists are still stubborn enough to claim "it's still a remnant of a tail", but let's be honest here: It has function as it is, and so there is no reason to speculate on what it might have been. That is, unless you assume Evolution is true in the first place. Thus, to claim that the vestigial tail proves Evolution is circular reasoning.

That's just one example of how Evolution has actually hindered medical science. But generally speaking, doctors just don't care about Evolution. When they treat a patient, they are fully aware that they are treating a human being in the present, and so they aren't bothered by silly fairy stories about monkey men no one ever met. There's a reason many doctors are still Creationists to this day, and unless you ask them, you're not likely to know which ones.

But there is one disease that only one doctor can cure, and He happens to be a Creationist. That disease is sin, and that doctor is the Lord Jesus Christ. Through faith in His death and resurrection, we can be forgiven for every time we have ever rebelled, and receive an inheritance of eternal life in His kingdom.
