In Genesis 6:15, God tells Noah how long, wide and high to build the ark that would preserve the human race, and two of each kind of animal they shared their planet with. 4,300 years later, the world class ship researcher, Dr. Seon Hong and his team, did a study of 12 hulls of various dimensions (1). A fact that will surprise no one who believes the word of God is that not one of the hulls outperformed the ark. Rather, the ark perfectly balanced stability, comfort, and strength, whereas each of the other designs sacrificed at least one of these elements.
In the modern day, ships of various kinds still use similar dimensions. Cargo ships especially use these dimensions, and it turns out there's a good reason for this. The ark was capable of withstanding 100ft waves with no fear of tipping over.
The question we have to ask now is why did Moses know how to build the perfect cargo ship? What's especially interesting is that other cultures had a story of a global flood (further evidence that the real event occurred), but every single one of them lacks this perfect ship design. So why did Moses know it? The easiest conclusion to accept is that the Bible really is the word of God.
