Win with God, or lose against Him

It is both amazing and tragic the number of people who believe they will be able to answer God back on judgement day. A number of atheists are especially vocal about how even if they found out there is a God, they would not worship Him just because they don't like Him.

But unbelievers aside, this is an attitude many Christians struggle with as well. When God doesn't act the way we want Him to, particularly if He leaves us in a struggle, it's not uncommon for us to demand answers.

But what answer does He owe us? Are we truly innocent? We all have a million sins to answer for, the Lord owes us nothing but wrath, yet still we complain about the things we lack, the struggles we face, the pain we feel. We even have the cheek to blame God for these things, but 9 times out of 10 we're the ones who dug the hole we're stuck in. The 10th time still isn't something God willingly levies upon us (Lamentations 3:33).

Whatever we suffer, we can be sure we could not argue with God about it. Even humans have the power to shut each other up sometimes, what hope do we stand against a Holy and omniscient God? Far better to walk in faith, facing every trial as a thing presented to us in God's wisdom, than to shake our fist at Him. If you seek an answer, ask God what He requires of you. God always wins. The question is whether or not you win with Him.
