Modern Leftists have created a dilemma for themselves by accusing everyone they disagree with of hatred, bigotry, and various kinds of phobias. In doing so, they have re-defined hatred as mere disagreement. The problem is, if a "bigot" disagrees with them, they must necessarily disagree with the "bigot". Thus, they have two options: Admit that they are also bigots, or admit that they are the only bigot.
I hope this is no secret, but I am a Christian. I believe the Bible is true in every area in which it touches, and therefore I believe Evolution is a lie, abortion is murder, there is no such thing as same sex marriage, Jesus is the only way to God, Israel belongs to the Jews, and a whole range of other views the radical Left finds offensive. Now, let's apply that to what I have just said.
If Leftists define hatred as mere disagreement, then fine, you can re-write the dictionary if it helps. Call me a bigot, I will proudly admit that yes, I do disagree with you, and I do not apologise for that. The problem is, because I disagree with you, you also disagree with me. Therefore, by your own definition, you are also a bigot.
But if bigotry goes beyond mere disagreement, and indeed it does, I am not a bigot. See, I am not just a Christian. I am also a mature adult, which means I am perfectly capable of disagreeing with someone without hating them. But since a Leftist believes disagreement is hateful, that means they are not capable of disagreeing with someone without hating them. Therefore, while I am not a bigot, they are.
By throwing accusations of hatred around like confetti, the radical Left has inadvertently confessed that they are the bigots. I serve a God who tells me that if possible, as far as it depends on me, I am to live at peace with all (Romans 12:18). Christians are not allowed to be bigots, plain and simple. We're not even supposed to merely tolerate people, we are supposed to go as far as loving our enemies. A consistent Christian will love even the most radical Leftist bigot.
Now, the problem with tolerance and loving our enemies is that it requires disagreement and enmity to begin with. If you disagree with me, I will tolerate you. If you hate me, I will love you. That's how Christianity works. Accusing Christians of hatred and bigotry not only reveals that you have no reasonable arguments to make against our beliefs, but also leaves you with no option but to admit that you are the hateful bigot. However...
Because we serve a God of love, we can share His love with you. God can forgive your hatred. Not just your hatred, but all of your sins. God loved you so much that in spite of how much you hate Him, He actually sent Jesus to die so that you need never be punished for your sins. All it takes is faith. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. Be warned, however, that if you do this, a lot of bigots will hate you, too.
