Dear Theistic Evolutionists,
Do you not find it remotely strange that for >3,200 years, Creationism was the dominant interpretation of the Bible, and it didn't become acceptable to try to merge Evolution with it until atheists started using it to attack Christianity? Do you not wonder why, though various myths similar to Evolution did exist in the past, Christians spent more time opposing them than accepting them? Do you not find it a little odd that Catholicism, a religion notorious for absorbing pagan myths it encountered, never even attempted to absorb those primitive Evolutionist views? Does it not perplex you that though anyone encountering even an Intelligent Design advocate will immediately assume they're a "Bible thumper", but the only reason they'll assume you are a Christian is if you first reveal you are a Christian? If you are really Christians, why do you believe the atheist Creation myth, and why do you so often defend it in similar ways they do, atheistic assumptions and all? And if you find yourself attacking or butchering scripture more than letting it be your guide, is there even a point in claiming to have faith in the God who wrote it?
The reason for all of the above is obvious. The reason Evolution seems so incompatible with Judeo-Christianity is because Evolution is incompatible with Judeo-Christianity. Now consider this: Most atheists can read. Not only can they read, but thanks to sites like Bible Gateway, they now have free, easy and instant access to the Bible. That means they can skip you and your arguments and just go straight to the Bible. And not only can they read the Bible they access, they usually do what most people do when they get a new book. They start from the beginning. The beginning, in Genesis, where the Creationist viewpoint is summed up. In other words, the first thing they find out when they open the Bible is that Evolution is incompatible with the Bible. So what are they going to conclude? "Christians don't believe the Bible, so why should we?" And so it's not just your faith you're threatening. If you are truly Christians, you yourselves will be saved. You'll lose some Heavenly rewards, but you'll still be saved as though through fire (1 Corinthians 3:9-15). But the people you lied to, the people who believed your lies, may be hardened against any truth you may have told them. And so they may never be saved. They will never repent, they will never be redeemed to their Creator, they will be cast into the lake of fire, and you will bear a part of the blame for it (Ezekiel 3:18-20).
Woe betide you, you blasphemers. You faithless hypocrites, you who choose the word of sinful men over the infallible word of the Living God. You who trust God when it comes to the future, but Satan when it comes to the past, woe betide you. You cannot serve two masters, it's time to pick a side! Repent, for your own sake, for the sake of those who hear you, and for the sake of the God who bought you with His own blood. Repent, and submit. On your own head be it if you refuse.
