Important points for Theistic Evolutionists to consider

Theistic Evolutionists, I have some serious questions for you to reflect on:

1. Do you not find it strange that ever since Genesis was written, the dominant interpretation of it, by Jews, Christians, and unbelievers, has been "young" earth Creationism?

2. Do you not find it strange that there were all sorts of beliefs very similar to Evolution, yet such things only became "acceptable" to merge with the Bible when atheists started claiming them as scientific fact?

3. Do you not find it strange that Augustine, the most misquoted early Christian in this debate, called any document that said more than 6,000 years had elapsed since creation "highly mendacious", and anyone who fell for them "deceived"?

4. Does it not surprise you that the Catholic Church, a religion well known for stealing pagan beliefs and adding them to Christianity, never even attempted to steal those pagan beliefs until relatively recently, and even now has not enshrined Evolution as dogma?

5. Does it not seem even remotely odd that so many scientists (basically all of them) were Creationists up until Lyell sought to "free science from Moses"?

6. Does it not surprise you that so many scientists today continue this great tradition of seeing science as a tool to worship God by investigating His creation, rather than a weapon to defend the atheistic creation myth?

7. Does it not seem strange to you that whereas people hear "Creationist", they instantly assume we are either a Jew or a Christian, yet when you start defending Evolution, you have to identify yourselves as Christians before anyone has a clue?

8. Does it not seem strange to you that Jews and Christians both defend similar views of Genesis (though non-Christian Jews obviously avoid Jesus or any New Testament quotations) to this day?

9. Does it not surprise you that atheists, who have absolutely no motive to try to make Evolution fit the Bible, are quite capable of saying that Creationists are interpreting it right, whereas they tend to mock you for your compromise?

10. Why do you spend more time attacking the Bible and appealing to extra-Biblical sources, whereas Creationists simply need to read it and let it speak for itself?

11. Why, when the Bible says people will find Christianity foolish (1 Corinthians 1:18), do you feel the need to change Christianity to make it look less foolish to them?

12. Does it even work? If you don't believe your own Bible, how will you convince others?

13. If you don't believe the Bible, why do you even bother with it at all?

14. Given that the Bible constantly calls for unity in the Church, especially asking us to all speak the same thing, why do you insist on being such a vocal and erroneous minority?

15. What's your contingency plan for when the culture eventually admits Evolution was a farce and moves on to something new (and probably just as crazy)?

All of these questions can be summed up in just one: why are Theistic Evolutionists effectively atheistic apologists with a cross around their neck? If you claim to serve God, it makes sense to serve God. If you don't serve God, you might as well admit it. I'm not saying Theistic Evolution is itself a damnable heresy, but it is certainly a symptom of having rejected Christ, which of course is damnable. Generally speaking, I default towards believing a Theistic Evolutionist is saved. However, I will say this: As the distinction between atheistic Evolution and Theistic Evolution is so negligible, Theistic Evolution is the closest you can come to atheism without apostatising.
